Some things I’ve read, watched or played

Youth hockey season is in full swing so that means practice during the week and travel on most weekends. I’ve tried to fill the spaces in between with design, reading and games instead of social media sludge. Here's what I've been reading, watching and playing:
Sunderfolk (Video Game)
Digital turn based RPG with a twist - players use their devices (phone, tablet) to plan their moves, attack and upgrade their characters. I’m a sucker for co-op and this one is a lot of fun.
Stick (TV Show)
Funny show with a lot of heart. Apparently some people don’t like Owen Wilson but those people are ridiculous. Also Apple TV has so many good shows. Really enjoyed Shrinking, Silo and Murderbot as well.
Castle Panic (Board Game)
Great co-op board game for the family! Work together to defend the castle from Goblins, Orcs, Trolls and the occasional rolling boulder. Random escalating events keep it interesting each play through.
Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim - David Sedaris (Book)
Recently re-read this and I forgot how poignant and funny it is. Good entry point if you haven’t read Sedaris.
You Like It Darker - Stephen King (Book)
The dude’s still got it. This is one of his best collection of short stories (and that is saying something).
Thunderbolts (Movie)
Watched with the family and we really enjoyed it! Funny, sad and scary at the same time. If these are the new Avengers, I'm here for it.
