Utah Mammoth are playoff bound!

My Utah Mammoth are headed to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since they moved to Utah from Arizona. It’s been 6 years since the Arizona Coyotes made the playoffs. I’ve been following this team since they moved from Winnipeg to Phoenix 30(!) years ago.

Also, let’s talk about the Zammoth - a gloriously repurposed Zamboni from the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.

The wife took me to a couple of games for my birthday this year. Awesome building and atmosphere in SLC.

The Mammoth also have an awesome logo and the best goalie pads in the NHL.
